# 📚What are The Valleys?

**What are The Valleys?**

The Valleys is a Yield Farm on the Harmony Blockchain built on top of Defi Kingdoms, which means that Liquidity Provider (LP) tokens that are used to farm on The Valleys will be created on [Defi Kingdoms](https://app.defikingdoms.com/#/).

The Valleys has the purpose of incentivizing cross-chain liquidity on the Protocol by offering bridged tokens pools while being a Layer 2 to Rain Finance. This means that instead of taking liquidity away and spreading it around like other DEXes, it incentivizes people to create liquidity on Defi Kingdoms and use it on The Valleys to farm and 'hunt' our governance token while creating buying pressure to Rain's Finance governance token.

## Feature Overview:

* Yield Farming -> LP tokens created on DefiKingdoms can be deposited on The Valleys for Amethyst rewards.
* Gem Hunting, deposit your favourite tokens and be rewarded in $AME!
* Lottery that burns $AME.
* Upcoming: Vaults, autocompounding your yield.
* Upcoming: Bridged pools, yield farming without impermanent loss risk.
* Upcoming: Double LP stablecoin farming, creating deep on-chain liquidity.
* Upcoming: BabyHeroes NFTs.
* Upcoming: Deposit $AME, earn other partnered token.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://babyjewelone.gitbook.io/the-valleys/master.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
